Top-tier equipment, spotless facilities, and resort-style amenities like the steam room and sauna make this gym absolutely worth it. The staff does an amazing job constantly cleaning the locker/changing rooms and keeping the facilities spotless. Despite their hard work, some members ruin the experience by leaving towels behind in the steam room and on the floor. There are also some people talking loudly and using their phones in the steam room and showers. Management needs to increase floor monitoring and post clearer signage regarding phone use, shared space etiquette, and child supervision so everyone can enjoy a peaceful experience.

I have been a member of lifetime fitness for years on and off. I decided to sign up again and utilize the daycare now that i have two young kids. I was hesistant and tried out the daycare at Rochester Lifetime which did not work out well with my kids. A mom I met told me to give Troy Kids academy a try as most of the employees are moms and do great with the kids. I gave it a try and cannot be happier. Riley, Stef and really all the employees at the kids academy are exceptional. I never thought my kids would do well there but it has been life changing. I have been utilizing the GTX classes daily now and easily drop my kids to the academy with no hesistation and with confidence my kids are having fun and in good hands. The GTX instructors at the 10am class have been amazing including beth, shannon, ryan and really all the instructors. I never thought i would be able to lift weights and this class has given me confisence, i have never on ce felt judged although its been years since lifting weights. I even convinced my sisters to join since i made the switch to Troy Lifetime. Highly recommend!

Life Time is a great facility, but that alone isn’t why I recommend it. What truly sets it apart is the quality of trainers there, especially Jenn R., who brings an exceptional blend of professionalism, insight, and client-focused coaching. She listens carefully to feedback, creates highly personalized training plans, and knows exactly when to challenge clients to help them reach their full potential. Her approach is welcoming, compassionate, motivating, and genuinely results-driven. If you’re ready to invest in yourself and see real results, Jenn is the one to get you there.

Please do not change your hot tub temperature for those of us who love hot tubs. 100-105 is the perfect temp tbh. Preferably 105. Those who don't want a hot tub can use the luke warm pool they are looking for aka the recreational pool. A hot tub is supposed to be hot. I know plenty of other members who love it being hot. Love, love, love this club, specifically this location. The women's locker room attendants are so sweet, as well as the staff in the life cafe. Love the smoothie options. Haven't ever had a bad smoothie here. Just wish there were more vegetarian options. I would buy more entrees if they had even some vegetarian pastas/sandwiches/ect. But yeah love that ya'll added a cold plunge. It's really helped with my joints. Also love that ya'll have a hot tub. The temperature is perfect. Most hot tubs are too lukewarm. I just wish that ya'll were still open 24 hours, and more so that you still kept the basketball court. Like I know pickle ball is popular, but there are so many people who love to use the courts. It'd be nice if they were still an option. It was always a fun way to switch up my exercise routine. I'll miss the basketball court. I just figured one pickle ball co

I've been a member at Life Time Fitness Troy since 2002, and I've never been this disappointed. They are completely getting rid of the basketball courts and replacing them with pickleball. First they took one court away, and now they're taking BOTH courts starting April 19. Basketball has always been one of the main reasons people come here, and now it feels like that doesn't matter at all. Instead, pickleball is taking over the entire space with prime-time hours--6-9:30 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays and 6-9 PM on other days--basically making it impossible for anyone to play basketball after work. On top of that, the courts were never even taken care of properly. The basketball floors are rarely cleaned, and the wood clearly needs to be polished. For a gym charging around $150 a month, you would expect much better maintenance, but it feels like they never cared about the basketball side at all. Another issue is the hours. The basketball courts close at 11 PM Monday through Thursday, and the entire club closes at 11 PM on Fridays--which is crazy considering most locations stay open later. This is the only club I know closing that early on a Friday. After over 20 years of being a
